Ingredients

  • 4 Poppy Seed Kaiser Rolls Toasted
  • 2 Large Yellow Onions Thinly sliced
  • 1 Pound Ribeye Thinly sliced*
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 Slices Land O Lakes® Deli American Cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the pan and heat until shimmering. Add onions and season with a big pinch of kosher salt and a big pinch of freshly ground black pepper. Cook until onions begin to brown (10-15 minutes).

  2. Add Worcestershire sauce and cook until the liquid boils off (about 1 minute).

  3. Add the meat and sauté until cooked through (about 3-5 minutes).

  4. Add slices of Land O Lakes® Deli American Cheese on top of the meat and onions. Cook until the cheese starts to melt (about a minute) and then using a spatula scoop the up meat and cheese and place on a toasted kaiser roll. Serve hot.

Recipe Notes

*To slice the beef extra thinly freeze the steaks for about 90 minutes prior to cutting.
